New techniques to analyse the trace available from microprocessors

By using recently introduced techniques to analyse the trace available from the current generation of  microprocessors it is possible to have a detailed view of the internal operation of the processor cache and BPU.  We will explain how this unprecedented level of analysis can enable programmers to optimise their code to take advantage of the performance gains and power savings this gives. Some users have seen a 20% improvement just by re-linking their application.
