The use of C++ in an Embedded Environment

Dr Wojciech Basalaj will be reflecting on the use of C++ in an Embedded Environment. The issues of code bloat, in-lining, memory management and reusability will be examined and discussed. The cost of using C++ OO features will be compared to that of C alternatives. A review will take place on where and when should C++ be used instead of C, and why a Coding Standard is required to ensure the safest usage of the language in an Embedded Environment.
